So why create these two short adventure stories for children?

When I moved to Ireland I thought it would be really amazing to create personally, for my children, their own adventure book range.

​

Basing the stories on my own adventures and the love of the outdoors, from owning sailing boats, woodland walks, beach life and surfing - I created for my daughter, Poppy, Hurrahtum Adventures!

​

So I wrote it on computer, printed it out, hand drew all the illustrations (borrowing my children's pencils) and then bound it with covers.

​

Will's Wild Adventures followed soon after for my son, Will - and like my daughter - he currently has four books in the series.

​

Reading at bedtime has always been a special moment for me, so to write personal books for my children has been incredibly exciting.
